About us
Reconnecting faith and finances for families who want to steward money well.
It started with a conversation.
It began with my friend Jim. Jim and I served on the same church staff. His years were catching up to him, and I asked him one day what he had planned for retirement. After a heavy sigh he said, “I can’t retire, Trevor. I opted out of social security when I was a young pastor, and I’ve never been able to save much. I just have to keep working and trust the Lord.”
I admired Jim’s faith, but his circumstances broke my heart. It wasn’t his fault—he’d never been taught how to align his finances with his faith. Over the years I’ve seen the same pattern over and over: for most Christians, faith and finances are disconnected.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. Six years ago Reverb was launched to give people of faith what Jim never got—practical wisdom and hopeful strategies for aligning finances with faith.
In my free time I love being outdoors with my three young boys, trying new restaurants with my wife Steph, and reading presidential biographies.
